Monica-Majok

Monica is an innovative young leader making change, inspiring her community and having a positive influence on the next generation.

She is founding director of The Australian African Sports Association which exists to provide opportunities and pathways that empower Australian African youths through sport.

The association was built on the purpose of bridging the gaps young people face in their different communities, creating a diverse and inclusive platform that empowers all races, genders, tribes and communities. Youth-led programs focus on healthy lifestyles, women empowerment, social sport participation and opportunities to pursue professional training and development pathways.

A lawyer, Monica is executive chair of Maxxit International.

Her passion for basketball and playing the sport continues today.

Hailing from a hoops family, her brother Majok plays for the Perth Wildcats in the NBL.
