This Fellowship places one emerging Australian female administrator inside the operations of a leading WNBA franchise.

She Hoops have announced that Jessica Goodluck, Participation Coordinator at Basketball Western Australia, has been selected as the 2025 recipient of the Seattle Storm x She Hoops Administration Fellowship.

The groundbreaking international learning opportunity was founded in 2024 and developed by She Hoops in partnership with WNBA club Seattle Storm.

This Fellowship places one emerging Australian female administrator inside the operations of a leading WNBA franchise.

For two months, Jessie will be embedded with the Storm’s front office team, gaining firsthand experience across:

  • Sport Administration
  • Branding & Marketing
  • Commercial Operations
  • Community Engagement
  • Leadership and Culture

On return, Jessica Goodluck will deliver an impact project, a tangible, purpose-driven initiative grounded in her experiences in Seattle and aimed at improving outcomes for women and girls in Australian basketball.

Jessie was a standout candidate with a background that spans grassroots and high-performance, she has consistently used her platform to advocate for inclusion, community leadership, and Indigenous engagement.

She was selected for her leadership potential and lifelong contribution to the sport.

“Jessie has given so much to basketball — as a player, mentor, and community leader,” said Lauren Jackson AO OLY, Head of Women and Girls at Basketball Australia.

“Her passion for the game and her commitment to creating opportunities for others is exactly what this Fellowship is about.”

As Jessie embarks on this experience, we look forward to sharing her journey as a case study in how international collaboration, lived experience, and purpose-driven leadership can drive meaningful change in Australian sport.
